Mowing
SWEEPING
The fanning action of the rotating line can be
used for a quic k and easy clean up. Keep the
line parallel to and above the surfaces being
swept and move the tool from side to side.

ments will need to be made periodically to
properly maintain your unit.

S Housing Screws
S Debris Shield
CHECK FOR DAMAGED OR
WORN PARTS
Contact an authorized service dealer for re-
placement of damaged or worn parts.
S Trigger Switch -- Ensure switch functions
properly by pressing andreleasing thetri g -
ger switch. Make sur e motor stops.
S Debris Shield -- Disco ntinue use of unit if
debris shield is damaged.
AFTEREACHUSE
INSPECT AND CLEANUNIT AND LA-
BELS
S After each use , inspect complete unit for
loose or damaged parts. Never us e adam-
aged trimmer.
S Clean the unit using a damp cloth with a
mild detergent.
S Wipe off unit with a clean dry cloth.
S Use a soft brushto cleanaround the inside
ofthedebris shield,thecuttinghead andthe
motor housing air vents.
Air Vents
S Remove the wheel by pressing one of the
buttons. Cleanthe wheeland groove o nthe
motor housing with a sof t brush. Reinst all
wheel (see ASSEMBLY section).
