DATE : The warranty period begins on the date
the small off--road e ngine is p urcha s ed.
LENGTH OF COVERAGE: This warranty
shall be for a pe riod of two years from the ini-
tial date of purchase, or until the end of the
product warranty (whichever is longer).
WHA T IS COVERED: REP AIR OR RE-
PLACEMENT OF PARTS. Repair or replace-
ment of any warranted part will be perform ed
at no charge to the owner at an approved
Poulan P RO servicingcenter .If you haveany

. WAR RANT Y PERI OD:
Any war r anted part w hich is not scheduled for
replacement as required maintenance, or
whichis scheduled onlyfor regularinspection
to the effect of “repair or r eplace as neces-
sary”shallbe w arrantedfor 2years. Any war-
ranted part which is scheduled for replace-
ment as required maintenance shall be
warranted for the period of t im e up to the first
sch eduled replacement point for that part.
DIAGNOSIS: The owner shall not be
charged for diagnostic labor which leads to
the determination that a warr anted part is de-
fective if the diagnostic work is performed at
an approved Poulan P RO servicing cent er.
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES: Poulan
PRO may be liable for damages to ot her en-
gine components caused by the failure of a
warrant ed pa rt still under warrant y. WHA T IS
NOT COVERED: All failures caused by
abuse, neglect,or improper maintenanceare
not covered. ADD--ONORMODIFIED
PARTS: The use of add--on or modifiedparts
can be grounds for disallowing a war ranty

nance or repair on emission r elated parts will

part is under warranty. EMISSION CON-
TROL WARRANTY PARTS LIST: Carbu re-
tor , air filte r (co vere d u p to m aintenance sched-
ule), ignition system: spark plug (covered up to
maintenanceschedule), ignition module, muffler
includi ng catalyst (if equipped), fuel tank.
MAINTENANCESTATEMENT:The o wneris
responsible for the performance of all re-
quired maintenance as defined in theinstruc-
tion manual.
