original consumer p urchaser that ea ch new
Poulan PR O brand gasoline t ool or attachment
is fr ee from defects in materi al and workm an-
ship and agrees to repair or replace under th is
warra nty any defective gaso line product or at-
tach ment as fo llows from the origi nal date of
purcha se.
2YEARS--Parts and Labor , when u se d for
household purpo ses.
90 DA YS -- Pa rts and Labor, when used for
commercial, professional, or income producing
purposes.
30 DA YS -- Parts and Labor, if used for rent al
purposes.
This war ranty is not tran sferable and does no t
cover damag e or l iability caused by improper
handling, improper maintenanceoralte ration, or
the use of acce ssories and/or attachm ents not
specifically recommended by Poulan PRO for
this tool. This warranty does not cove r tune--up,
spark plugs, f ilters, starterro pes, cut ting line, or
rotating hea d parts thatwi ll wear and requ ire re-
placem ent with reasonable use during the war-
ranty period . Th is warrant y does not cove r pre--
deliver y setup or no rmal adjustments explained
in the i nstr ucti on manual. T his warra nty does
not cover t ransportation cost s.

service dealer .

EMISSION CONTROL WARRANTY STATEMENT
YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS AND OB-
LIGATIONS: The U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency, California Air Resources
Board, Envi ronment Canada and Poulan
PRO are p leased t o explai n the emissi ons con-
trol system wa rranty on your year 2010 and lat-
er small off--road engine. In California, all small
off--road engines m ust be de signed, built, and
equ ip pe d to m ee t the State’s str inge nt anti--
smog standards. Poulan PRO must warrant
the emission control system on your small
off--road engine for the periods of time listed
below provided there has been noabuse,ne-
glect, or im proper maintenance o f your small
off--road engine. You r emi s sion control syst em
includes parts such as th e carburet or , the igni-
tion syst em andthe fuel t ank.Where awarrant-
able condition exists, P o ulan PRO will repair
your small off--road engine at no cost to you.
Expenses co vered under warranty include
diagnosis, parts and labor.
MANUFACTURER’S WARR ANTY COV-
ERAGE:If anyemissions relatedpart onyour
engine (as listed under Emissions Control
Warranty Par ts List ) is def ecti ve or a defect in
the m ateria ls or workmanship of the engine
causes the failure of such an emission relate d
part, the pa rt will b e repa ired o r replaced by
Poulan PRO. OWNER’S WARRANTY RE-
SPON SIBILITIES: A s the small off--road en-
gine owner, you are responsible for the per-
formance of the required maintenance listed
in your instruction manual. P oulan P RO rec-
ommends thatyou retain allreceipts covering
maintenance on your sm all off--r oad engine,
but Poulan PRO cannot deny warranty solely
for thelack of receiptsor foryourfailure to en-
sure the pe rformance of all scheduled main-
tenance. As the small off--road engineowner,
you should be aware that Poulan PRO may
deny youwarranty coverage ifyour smalloff--
road engine or a part of it has failed due to
