MENT D ATE: The warranty period begins on
the date the small off--road engine is pur-
chased. LENGTH OF COVERAGE: This
warranty shall be for a period of two year s
from the initial date of purchase, or until the
end ofthe product warranty(whichever islon-
ger). WHATIS COVERED:REPAIRO R RE-
PLACEMENT OF PARTS. Repair or re-
placement of any warranted part will be
performed atno chargeto the owner atan ap-
proved P oulan PRO servicing center. If you

. WARRANTY PE-
RIOD: Any warr a nted part which is not
sch eduled for replacement as required main-
tenance, or which is scheduledonly for regu -
lar inspection to theeffect of“r epairor replace
as necessary” shall be warranted for 2years.
Any warranted part w hich i s s cheduled forre-
placement a s requir ed maintenance shall be
warranted for the period of time up to the first
sch eduled replacement point for that part.
DIAGNOSIS: The owner shall not be
charged for diagnostic labor which leads to
the determination that a warr anted part is de-
fective if the diagnostic work is performed at
an approved Poulan PRO servicing center.
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES: Poulan
PRO may be liable for damages t o other e n-
gine components caused by th e failure ofa war-
ranted part still un der warranty. WHA T IS NOT
COVERED: A ll failures caused by abuse, ne-
glect,orimproper maintenanceare not covered.

add--on o r modified parts can be groun ds for
disallo wing a warranty claim . Poulan P RO is not
liable to cove r failures of warranted par ts
caused by t he u se of add--on o r m odified parts.

RELATED PARTS: Any Poulan PRO ap-
proved r eplacement part used in the perfor-
mance o fany warranty maintenance o rrepair
on emission related parts will be provided
without charge tothe ownerif thepart isunder
warrant y. EMISSION CONTROL WARRAN-
TY PARTS LIST: Carburetor , air filt er (covered
up to maintenance sched ule), ignition system:
spark plug (cove red up to maintenance sch ed-
ule), ignition module, m uffler including catalyst(if
equipped), fuel tank. MAINTENANCE
STATEMENT: The owner is responsible for
the per formance of all required maintenance
as defined in the instruction manual.
