Adjusting the hydrostatic wire
The hydrostatic wire (on the left) is adjusted as
follows:
1. Remove the transmission cover. Unscrew the
two screws (one on each side) and lift off the
transmission cover.
2. Separate the lower ball joint, which is secured
with a spring clip.
3. Make sure the forward drive pedal is fully
depressed.
4. Raise the arm as far as possible and check that
the ball and socket of the lower ball joint match
up.
5. Adjust the socket on the wire if required.
6. Reassemble the low ball joint.
7. Refit the ball joint spring clip.
