Daily Operating Checklist
Make sure all necessary guards and shields are safely
and securely attached. Check for loose, missing, or
damaged parts.
Remove mower deck belt shields. Clean grass and
debris from belt area.
Remove grass and debris from machine and mower
deck.
Remove grass and debris from operator station foot
plate, pump drive belt compartment, hydraulic pump
and pump mounting plate.
Test park brake.
Test safety systems.
Check battery.
Check for oil leaks.
Check engine oil and hydraulic oil levels.
Check all belts for damage or cracking.
Check engine air filter.
Check mower level.
Adjust cutting height if necessary.
Check wheel bolt torque. Tighten if necessary.
Check tire air pressure. Check tires for damage or
cracking.
Check and adjust speed control linkages and lock.
Avoid Damage to Plastic and Painted Surfaces
Do not wipe plastic parts unless rinsed first.
Insect repellent spray may damage plastic and painted
surfaces. Do not spray insect repellent near machine.
Be careful not to spill fuel on machine. Fuel may dam-
age surface. Wipe up spilled fuel immediately.
Prolonged exposure to sunlight will damage the hood
surface.
