SNOW THROWER
AFTER FIRST USE
• Check for any loose or damaged parts.
• Tighten any loose fasteners.
• Check and maintain the auger.
AFTER EACH USE
• Remove all snow and slush off the snow
thrower to prevent freezing of auger or
controls.
• Check controls to make sure they are
functioning properly.
• If any parts are worn or damaged,
replace immediately.
SNOW THROWER
ENGINE LUBRICATION
Check the crankcase oillevel (see figure be-
low) before starting the engine and after
each five (5) hours of continuous use. Add
S.A.E. 5W30 motor oil as needed. Tighten
fill cap/dipstick securely each time you
check the oil level. S.A.E. 0W30 motor oil
may be used to make starting easier in ar-
eas where the temperature is 20° F or
lower.
