Description
The self priming pool pump is designed
for high effi ciency, and easy maintenance,
with an oversized strainer basket. It is con-
structed of durable thermoplastic for years
of trouble free service. This swimming pool
pump is designed for use with permanently
installed swimming pools and spas only. Do
not use with storable pools.
Unpacking
After unpacking the unit, carefully
inspect for any damage that may have
occurred during transit. Check for loose,
missing or damaged parts.

from our factory. This manual contains
important sections relative to user safety,
use, maintenance, warranty, etc. It is
a good idea to ask for extra copies for

Risk of Electric
Shock. Connect only
to a grounding type receptacle protected
by a ground-fault circuit-interrupter
(GFCI). Contact a qualifi ed electrician if
you cannot verify that the receptacle is
protected by a GFCI.
Do not bury cord. Locate cord to
minimize abuse from lawn mowers,
hedge trimmers, and other equipment.
To reduce the risk
of electric shock,
replace damaged cord immediately.
This pump is for use
with permanently-
installed pools and may also be
used with hot tubs and spas if so
marked. Do not use with storable
pools. A permanently-installed pool is
constructed in or on the ground or in a
building such that it cannot be readily
disassembled for storage. A storable
pool is constructed so that it is capable
of being readily disassembled for
storage and reassembled to its original
integrity.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
Do not use pump for any purpose other
than pool/spa application. Components
have not been designed for other appli-
cations. Severe pump failure, may result.
Any unapproved use will void warranty.
Always follow basic safety precautions
with this equipment, including:
• Provide suffi cient ventilation to maintain
air temperature below the maximum
ambient temperature rating shown on
the motor nameplate. Any enclosure
