OPERATION
7.1 Setting Boom Mower Height
1. Park the tractor and boom mower on level
ground.
2. Shut down the tractor and remove the key.
3. Level the boom mower from front to rear by
extending or retracting the 3-point top link.
4. Level the mower side to side by manipulating
one lower lift arm length. On most tractors, at
least one of the lift arms is designed to allow for
manipulation of its length. Shortening or
extending will allow for deck leveling from side
to side.
5. Securely block up the mower at this height.
NOTE: Install optional check chains when there is
a problem with the hydraulic 3-Point lift maintaining
a set height or when a constant pre-adjusted cut
height is required.
8.DRIVELINE ATTACHMENT
The driveline yoke and tractor PTO shaft must be
dirt free and greased for attachment.
To connect the mower driveline to the tractor PTO
output shaft, pull the driveline yoke collar back and
align the grooves and splines of the yoke with those
of the PTO shaft. Push the driveline yoke onto the
PTO shaft, release the locking collar, and position
the yoke until the locking collar balls are seated
onto the PTO shaft. Push and pull the driveline
back and forth several times to ensure a secure
