Loss of power Cutting too much grass /too fast.
Throttlein“CHOKE”position.
Buildup of grass, leaves and trash under mower.
Dirty air filter.
Low oil/dirty oil.
Faulty spark plug.
Dirty fuel filter.
Stale or dirty fuel.
Water in fuel.
Spark plug wire loose.
Dirty engine air screen/fins.
Dirty/clogged muffler.
Loose or damaged wiring.
Carburetor out of adjustment.
Engine continues to run when operator leaves
seat
Faulty operator-presence safety switch.
Engine Backfires When Turning Engine “OFF” Engine throttle control not set at “SLOW” position for 30 seconds
