WARNING
Improperly placed embers interferes with proper burner
operation.
Figure 8.21 Place individual pieces of embers in front of and
around the gas log where they can be seen. Space them so
that gas can contact them on all sides. Avoid stacking the
embers on top of each other.
NOTE: Do not block gas ports.
J. Blower Installation
FROM THE KIT YOU WILL NEED: Blower motor; snap
disc bracket with wire harness; rheostat, rheostat nut; knob;
screws; 1 zip-tie.
TOOLS REQUIRED: #2 Phillips head bit; hand drill; 11/16
in. wrench.

Figure 8.23 Beneath the appliance from its front side, ensure
that all wiring is moved behind the blower mounting bracket
which already comes installed on the bottom of the appli-
ance. Complete blower mounting by inserting two screws
through the blower into the mounting bracket. Make the wire
harness connection.
I. Glass Door Assembly Installation
Remove the glass door assembly by opening latches at the
bottom front of the appliance, on both the left and right sides.
Lift out and away from the appliance.
Replace with a new glass door assembly.
Handle glass assembly with care.
CAUTION
• Inspect the gasket to ensure it is undamaged.
• Inspect the glass for cracks, chips or
scratches.
• Do NOT strike, slam or scratch glass.
• Do NOT operate appliance with glass door
removed, cracked, broken or scratched.
• Replace glass assembly as a complete
assembly.
