Tousethe REVERSECAUTIONMODE:

1. Startthe engineaspreviouslyinstructedinthis
Operator'sManual.
2. Turnthe keyfromtheNORMALMOWING(Green)
positiontothe REVERSECAUTIONMODE(Yellow)
positionofthe keyswitchmodule. SeeFigure12.
3. Depressthe REVERSEPUSHBUTTON(Orange,
TriangularButton)atthe top,rightcornerofthekey
switchmodule.Theredindicatorlight atthetop,left
cornerof the keyswitchmodulewill beONwhile
activated.See Figure12.
4. Onceactivated(indicatorlightON), thetractorcan
bedrivenin reversewiththe cuttingblades(PTO)
engaged.
5. Alwayslookdownand behindbeforeandwhile
backingtomakesureno childrenarearound.
6. Afterresumingforwardmotion,returnthe keytothe
NORMALMOWINGposition.
IMPORTANT:TheREVERSECAUTIONMODEwill
remainactivateduntil:
a. Thekeyisplacedin eithertheNORMALMOW-
INGpositionor STOPposition.
b. Theoperatorleavestheseat(ModelswithElectric
PTOONLY).
c. Theoperatorengagestheparkingbrakebyfully
depressingthebrakepedalandholdingitdown
whilegentlypushingthe parkingbrakebutton
inward(Modelswith ManualPTOONLY).

Engaging the Parking Brake
Toengagetheparkingbrake:
1. Fullydepressthebrakepedalandholdit downwith
yourfootwhilegentlypushingtheparkingbrakebutton
inward.
2. Holdthe parkingbrakebuttoninwhileremovingyour
footfromthe brakepedal.
3. Onceengaged,theparkingbrakebuttonandthebrake
pedalwilllockin the"down"position.
Todisengagetheparkingbrake:
1. Slightlydepressthebrakepedal.
NOTE:Theparkingbrakemustbeengagedif theoperator
leavestheseatwiththe enginerunningor theenginewill
automaticallyshutoff.
Setting the Cutting Height
1. Selecttheheightpositionof thecuttingdeckbyplacing
thedecklift leverin anyofthe sixdifferentcutting
heightnotchesonthe rightsideof thefender.
2. Adjustthedeckwheelsso thattheyare between
1A-inchandV2-inchabovethe groundwhenthetractor
isona smooth,flatsurfacesuchasadriveway.
