Shanks
Refer to Figure 3-4:
Shanks can be removed & installed upside down to give
dual life to shanks.
1. Remove bolt and nut (#1) from one end of pulverizer.
2. Pull rod (#2) from channel.
3. Flip shanks (#3) over and reinstall rod (#2)
4. Reinstall bolt and nut (#1).

Shank Working Depth
The working depth of the shanks can be adjusted by the
gauge wheels.
Place spacers (#2) & (#3) at desired height and secure
with pin (#4).

Clutch Engagement (Disengagement)
The Clutch can be engaged by turning the pin until the pin slides in the groove. Disengage by pulling out on the pin and
turning it until it is out of the groove. (Engaged for seeding.)
