A—Fire Extinguisher
A fire extinguisher (A) is available from your authorized
servicing dealer or engine distributor.
Read and follow the instructions which are packaged with
it. The extinguisher should be inspected at least every 500
hours of engine operation or every 6 months. Once
extinguisher is operated, no matter how long, it must be
recharged. Keep record of inspections on the tag which
comes with the extinguisher instruction booklet.

Engine Mounting
A—Mounting Bracket
Engine mounting is the responsibility of the vehicle or
generator manufacturer. Follow manufacturer’s guidelines
for mounting specifications.
IMPORTANT: Use only Grade SAE 8 or higher grade
of hardware for engine mounting.
1. Check the engine mounting brackets (A), vibration
isolators, and mounting bolts on support frame and
engine block for tightness. Tighten as necessary.
2. Inspect overall condition of vibration isolators, if
equipped. Replace isolators, as necessary, if rubber
has deteriorated or mounts have collapsed.
