Sharpening grass cutters and

S See the cutting attachment packaging for
correct sharpe ning instructions.
S Sharpen blades and cu tters using a
single--cut flat file.
S Sharpen all edges equally to maintain the
balance of the blade.
W ARNING: Alwa ys di scard a
blade tha t is bent, twi sted, cracked ,
broken or damage d in any othe r
way . Never attempt to strai ghten a
twist ed blade so th at it can be re-
used. Onl y use orig inal blades of the
specified type.
W ARNING: Always stop the en-
gine before doing any work on the
cutting attachment. This continues
to rotate even after the thro ttle has
been rel eased. Ensur e that the cut-
ting attachment has stopped com-
pletely and disconne ct the HT lead
from the spark plug before you start
to work on it.
