c) Lubricate front caster pivots once a year. Remove hex plug and cap.
Thread grease zerk in hole and pump with grease until it oozes out
around top bearing. Remove grease zerk and thread plug back in. Place
cap back on.
5.1.14 Lubricate seat switch actuator:
Service Interval: 160 hrs.
a) Stop engine and remove key.
b) Tilt seat up.
c) Lubricate switch actuator rod with spray type lubricant or light oil.
5.1.15 Lubricate brake handle pivot:
Service Interval: 160 hrs.
a) Stop engine and remove key.
b) Lubricate bronze bushings on brake handle pivot with a spray type
lubricant or light oil.
5.1.16 Lubricate brake rod bushings:
Service Interval: 160 hrs.
a) Stop engine and remove key.
b) Tilt seat up.
c) Lubricate bronze bushings on each end of brake rod shafts with a spray
type lubricant or a light oil. One shaft is located under the console. The
other is below and behind the seat.
5.1.17 Lubricate motion control bronze bushings:
Service Interval: 160 hrs.
a) Stop engine and remove key.
b) Tilt seat up.
c) Lubricate bronze bushings on flange bearings securing the motion control
arm shafts with a light oil or a spray type lubricant.
5.1.18 Remove engine shrouds and clean cooling fins:
Service Interval: 80 hrs.
a) Stop engine and remove key.
b) Remove cooling shrouds from engine and clean cooling fins. Also clean
dust, dirt and oil from external surfaces of engine which can cause
improper cooling.
c) Make sure cooling shrouds are reinstalled. Operating the engine without
cooling shrouds will cause engine damage due to overheating.
No. 6 (Pump Drive Belt Idler Arm)
Located Under Deck - Grease through hole in
top of deck, between pumps.
No. 4 & 6 (Idler Arms)
Monthly dissasemble belt and spring and
grease under a “NO LOAD” condition.
