Double Insulated Lawn Mower
Doubleinsulationis a conceptinthe safetyof electriclawn mowers,whicheliminatesthe needforthe usualthree-wire
groundedpowercordand groundedpowersupplysystem.Whereverthereis electriccurrentin themower,therearetwo
completesetsof insulationtoprotectthe user.All exposedmetalpartsareisolatedfromthe internalmetalmotorcompo-
nentswithprotectinginsulation.
Servicingof a lawnmowerwithdoubleinsulationrequiresextremecareandknowledgeof thesystemandshouldbe
performedonly byaqualifiedservicetechnician.Forrepairservicewesuggestyou takethelawnmowertoyournearest
authorizedservicedealer.Alwaysuseoriginalequipmentmanufacturer's(OEM)replacementpartswhenservicing.
CHILDREN
Tragicaccidentscanoccurifthe operatoris notalert tothe presence
of children.Childrenare oftenattractedtothe mowerandthe mowing
activity.Theydo notunderstandthedangers.Neverassumethat
childrenwill remainwhereyou lastsawthem.

OPERATION
General Operation:
• Readthisoperator'smanualcarefullyin itsentiretybefore
attemptingto assemblethismachine.Read,understand,and
followall instructionsonthe machineandin themanual(s) before
operation.Keepthis manualina safeplaceforfutureand regular
referenceandfororderingreplacementparts.
• Becompletelyfamiliarwiththecontrolsandtheproperuseof this
machinebeforeoperatingit.
• Thismachineis a precisionpiece ofpowerequipment,nota
plaything.Therefore,exerciseextremecautionatalltimes.This
machinehas beendesignedto performonejob: tomowgrass.
Donot useitforanyotherpurpose.
• Neverallowchildrenunder14yearsofagetooperatethis
machine.Children14andovershouldreadand understandthe
instructionsandsafeoperationpracticesinthis manualandon
the machineand betrainedandsupervisedby an adult.
• Only responsibleindividualswho arefamiliarwiththeserulesof

Removeall stones,sticks,wire,bones,toysand otherforeign
objectswhichcouldbetrippedoveror pickedupandthrownby
the blade.Thrownobjectscan causeseriouspersonalinjury.
• Planyourmowingpatterntoavoiddischargeofmaterialtoward
roads,sidewalks,bystandersand thelike.Also,avoiddischarg-
ing materialagainsta wallor obstructionwhichmaycause
dischargedmaterialto ricochetbacktowardtheoperator.
• To helpavoidbladecontactora thrownobjectinjury,stayin
operatorzonebehindhandlesandkeepchildren,bystanders,
helpersandpetsat least75feetfrommowerwhileit is in opera-
tion.Stop machineif anyoneentersarea.
• Alwayswear safetyglassesor safetygogglesduringoperation
andwhile performingan adjustmentor repairtoprotectyoureyes.
