MOWING RECOMMENDATIONS

CAUTION
STOP ENGINE, SET PARKING BRAKE,
REMOVE IGNITION KEY AND SPARK

WHEN LIFTING TO PREVENT THE
DECK FROM ACCIDENTALLY FALLING.

1. Remove the pin holding the deck lift bar and
LOWERING & REATTACHING THE DECK
1. Remove the pins from the locking holes used to
secure the folded deck.
2. Insert the deck lift bar into the lift tube, locking in
place with the pin, and rotate the deck back to
the horizontal position.
3. Move the deck handle assembly past the lowest cut-
ting position to assist in re-installing the deck locking
pins.
4. Depress the weight transfer arms with the lift bar
and latch the lift chains.
5. Insert the deck lift bar back in the stored position
and pin in place.
6. Lower the foot deck and re-adjust the deck handle
to the desired cutting height.
THE POWER UNIT IS VERY UNSTABLE WITHOUT
AN ATTACHMENT (MOWER, ETC.). OPERATION
WITHOUT AN ATTACHMENT CAN CAUSE SERI-
OUS INJURY OR DEATH DUE TO POWER UNIT
OVERTURNING.

slide the bar from its stored position.
2. Fold steering levers outward and raise the foot
deck into vertical position and lock into place;
move the levers to the in position.
3. Push the height control handle all the way for-
ward past lowest cutting height position.
Remove deck locking pins.
4. Depresss the deck weight transfer arms with the
lift bar and unlatch the lift chains.
5. Insert the deck lift bar into the lift tube, locking in
place with the pin,and lift the front of the deck
rotating it past 90 degrees.
6. Install pins in the locking holes to secure deck in
the folded position.
7. Remove the deck lift bar.
NOTE: To move the tractor without power, the
pumps must be unlocked and in the free
wheel position. Failure to do so could possibly
damage the hydraulic motors. Never pull at more
than 2 MPH.
