WARNING
Diesel fuel is highly flammable and must be
handled with care. Never fill the tank when the
engine is still hot from recent operation. Do
not allow open flame, smoking or matches in
the area. Avoid over-filling and wipe up any
spills.
Do not drain or replace fuel filter when engine
is hot, as spilled fuel may ignite. Make sure the
filter drain valve is fully closed before returning
the unit to service.
Do not use Kerosene in place of diesel
fuel or mix with diesel fuel. Kerosene will
damage the engine.
Consult the engine manufacturer’s manual
for specific fuel recommendations.
WARNING
Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or
electrical components can cause a fire. To
help prevent possible injury, turn the ignition
switch off when changing fuel filters or water
separator elements. Clean up fuel spills
immediately.
