Theweighttransfersystemengaged shiftsmoreweight
to the auger housing,This weighttransferkeeps the
snowthrowerin con*actwith the groundand reduces
ride-upon iceandsnow°
in lightersnow conditions or when transporting,you
shouldrelease the weight transfer systemfor easier
steedng.
• To usetheweighttransfersystem,tiltupon upper
handleuntilbracket boltssnapintoplace in upper
slotsofweighttransferpedal.
• To release,hold upperhandlefirmlyand pushdown
ontheweighttransferpedalwiththebailofyourfool
NOTE: "[heweighttransfersystemwillnotwork ifthe
auger housingheightadjust skids are adjustedto the
highestposition.

the bolein the track hub_Repeat on theopposite
sideofthe unit.

BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE
FILL/ADD OIL:
The engineon thissnowthrowerwasshippedwithout
oILAddoilbeforeyoustarttheengine_Removetheoillilt
cap!dipstickand fill the crank case to FULL line on
d_pstick(about20 ounces) (See Fig. 13) with SA, E.
10W-30motoroil (orequivalent)_Donotoverfill.Tighten
thefillcap/dipsticksecurelyeachtimeyoucheckthe oil
level.
