4.15 TILTING THE CUTTER DECK

WARNING:
Do not tilt the mower deck with the mower blades
rotating. Shut off the engine and remove the ignition
key. Bodily injury could occur from the rotating
blades.
The mower deck can be tilted up for trailering, blade
replacement, etc. To tilt the deck up:
1. Shut off the engine, remove the ignition key and
engage the park brake.
2. Lift up on the caster wheel arm until the lock pin
engages into the lock pin hole (Figure 4-15).
3. To release the deck and lower it to its operating
position:
A. Lift up on the caster wheel arm while pulling up
on the lock pin.
B. Carefully lower the deck to the ground.
