EMISSION CONTROL WARRANTY STATEMENT
YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS AND OB-
LIGATIONS: The U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency, California Air Resources
Board, Envi ronment Canada and Poulan
PRO are p leased t o explai n the emissi ons con-
trol system wa rranty on your year 2010 and lat-
er small off--road engine. In California, all small
off--road engines m ust be de signed, built, and
equ ip pe d to m ee t the State’s str inge nt anti--
smog standards. Poulan PRO must warrant
the emission control system on your small
off--road engine for the periods of tim e listed
below provided there has been noabuse,ne-
glect, or im proper maintenance o f your small
off--road engine. Your em issi on co ntro l syst em
includes parts such as th e carburet or , the igni-
tion syst em andthe fuel t ank.Where awarrant-
able condition exists, P o ulan PRO will repair
your small off--road engine at no cost to you.
Expenses co vered under warranty include
diagnosis, parts and labor. MANUFACTUR-
ER’S WARRANTY COVERAG E: If any
emissions related part on your engine (as
listed underEmissions Con trol Warranty Par ts
List) is def ective or a defect in the mate rials or
workmanship of the e ngine causes th e failure of
suchan emission related part, t he p art will bere-
paired or replaced by Poulan PRO. OWNER’S
WARRANTY RESPONSIBILITIES: As the
small off--road engine owner,youarerespon-
sible for the performance of the required
maintenance listed i n your instr uction manu-
al. Poulan PRO recommends that you retain
all receipts covering maintenance o n your
small off--road engine, but Poulan PRO can-
not deny warranty solely for t he lack of re-
ceipts or for your failure to ensure the perfor-
mance of all scheduled maintenance. As the
small off--road engine owner, you should be
aware that Poulan PRO may deny you war-
ranty coverage if your small of f--road en gine
or a par t of it has faileddue to abuse, neglec t,
improper maintenance, unapproved modifi-
cations, or the use of parts not made or ap-
provedby t heoriginal equipmentmanufactur-
er. You are responsible for presenting your
small o ff--road engine to an Poulan PRO autho-
rize d repair center as soon as a problemexists.
Warranty repairs should be completed i n a rea-
sonable a mount of time, not to exceed 30 days.

begins on the date the small off--road engine
is purchased. LENGTH OF COVERAGE:
This warranty shall be for a period of two
years from t he initial date ofpurchase, oruntil
the end ofthe product warranty (whichever is
longer). WHAT IS COVERED: REPAIR OR
REPLACEMENT OF PARTS. Repair or re-
placement of any warranted part will be per-
formed at no charge to the owner at an ap-
proved Poulan PRO servicing center. If you
