SHOULDER STRAP ADJUSTMENT
1. Ho ld the unit as s h own with the m u f f ler side
facing aw ay from your b ody an d c lothes.
2. Pass the shoulder strap over your head
and onto your right shoulder.
3. Extendyour left armtowardthe rearofthe
vacuum bag.
4. Adjust shoulder strap until the vacuum
bag/shoulder strap seam lies between
your thumb and index finger.
5. Make sure air flows freely from the elbow
tubeinto bag. If bagis kinked, the unit will
not operate properly.

THROTTLE LEVER
TheTHROTTLELEVER is usedto select the
desired enginespeed and tostop the engine.
Movethethrottlelevertothe
positionfor
full speed operation. Move the throttle lever
tothe
positionfor idlespeed. Tostopthe
engine, move the throttle lever to the ST OP
position.
PRIMER BUTTON
The PRIMER BUTTON removes air from the
carbu re to r and fuel line s an d fills them withfuel.
T his allows you to s ta r t the engine with fe we r
pulls on the starter rope. Activate p rimer butt on
by pressing it and allowing it to return to its origi-
nal position.
CHOKE LEVER
The CHOKE helps to supply fuel to the engine
to aid in cold starting. Activate the choke by
moving the choke lever to the FULL CHOKE
position.Afterengineattemptsto start , movethe
choke lever to the HALF CHOKE po sition.
Once engine starts, move choke lever to the
R U N position.
