The dimensions shown in Figures 4 through 10 and defined in the fireplace
manufacturer's instructions are minimum clearances to maintain when installing
this heater.
When heater is installed into a ventless fi rebox, minimum clearances, as specifi ed
by the ventless fi rebox manufacturer, must be met.
Follow these instructions carefully to ensure safe installation. Failure to follow
instructions exactly can create a fi re hazard.
CLEARANCES AND HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Sidewall and ceiling clearances: The sides of the fi replace opening must be at least 1
3
/4" from any combustible wall.
The ceiling must be at least 42" from the top of the fi replace opening. The wall parallel to the side of the heater must be at
least 36" from the side of the heater. Refer to you fi rebox owners manual for more information.
