Adjusting the parking brake
The parking brake is adjusted in the following manner:
1. Remove the transmission cover. Loosen both
screws (one on each side) and lift off the
transmission cover.
2. Unhook spring (A) from the screw (B) on the right-
hand side
3. Check that the parking brake is not on.
4. Adjust the play between the casing and the
adjustment screw to 1 mm when you pull the
casing.
Adjust with the nuts on the adjustment screw.
5. Tighten the nuts moderately to avoid damaging
the threads.
6. Replace the spring (A).
7. Check that the parking brake works.
