USING THE BLOWER
125BV
X--SERIES
can be used w ith a shoul-
der strap for extra comfort. The strap
should be worn over the shoulder as
shown.
To blow away debris on the
ground
Fitting the blower tube and no z zle
on the blower
The blower tube (T) has a pegged slot
mounting system to the unit. To install or
remove the blower tube (or collection bag
tube for 125BV
X--SERIES
), the tube clamp
bolt must be removed. Align slot in the
blower air outlet wit h the raised rib on the
tube and inser t tube until the holes in the
tube and housing align. Re--insert the tube
clamp bolt and tighten.
The nozz les (U) have a bayonet mount for
connecti o n to the blower tube. Air is chan-
neled through the blower tube to the
nozzles, where the air discharge velocity
increas es and the air stream dischar ge pat-
tern is formed to pr ovide best performance.
The length of the blower tube can be ad-
justed by twisting the nozzle to the left to
disengage the bayonet mount and sliding
the nozzle to the appropriate position.
Twist the nozzle to the right until a click is
felt to re--secure the nozzle.
Blowing
Before yo u begin blowing, put on the re-
quired safety equipment.
W ARNING: When fitting the blow-
er tube and nozzl e , th e engine must
be switched off.

the blower , wear the required p er-
sonal safety equipment:
1. Hearing protect ion.
2. Eye prot ection.
3. Protec tive gloves.
4. Face mask in dusty envir onments.
W ARNING: Never po int th e blo wer
nozzle a t people or animals. The
high--velo city air stream can con tain
parti cles that may cause serious
injury, especiall y if the bl ower has
previously been used for vacuuming.
Be careful, particularly if left hand
operation is applied. Avoid any di-
rect body contact with inlet cover
area. Keep jewelry, loose clothing,
or clothing with loosely hanging
straps, ties, tassels, etc., away fr om
inlet cover area.
