2) A number indicates that when exposed to the interference gas, the sensor will react the specified amount for a given
concentration. For example, on the first line of the table above, if the NO

sensor is exposed to 1 ppm Bromine (Br

the sensor will read 0.5 ppm. This interference is in addition to the target gas present.
For example, if an NH
3
sensor is exposed to 1 ppm NH
3
and 1 ppm Br
2
at the same time, the reading will be 0.9 ppm
(1ppm NH
3
+ -0.1 ppm Br
2
= 0.9 ppm reading).
