Replacing the suction head
Thefelt lter(8) of the suction head can become clogged.
It is recommended to replace the suction head once every
threemonthsinordertoensureunimpededfuelowtothe
carburetor.
To remove the suction head for replacement, pull it out through
thetankllerneckusingapieceofwirebentatoneendto
form a hook.

Lubricating the drive
The drive needs to be lubricated every 10 to 20 operating
hours.
Apply a grease gun at the lubrication opening (9) and press in
grease (SHELL ALVANIA RL3 or equivalent).
Instructions for periodic maintenance
To ensure long life, prevent damage and ensure the full functioning of the safety features the following maintenance must be per-
formed regularly. Guarantee claims can be recognized only if this work is performed regularly and properly. Failure to perform the
prescribed maintenance work can lead to accidents!
The user of the hedge trimmer must not perform maintenance work which is not described in the instruction manual. All such work
must be carried out by a DOLMAR service centre.
