Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Causes Solution
Mower will not move forward or reverse
Cannot move hydro mower when the
engine is off
Engine is overheating
Grass not cut smoothly or cleanly
Mower always pulls to one side
1. Release brake on control panel
2. Ensure bypass pins are retracted
3. Release parking brake detents
4. Shift transmission into gear by slid-
ing the shifter to the right
5. Belts or engagement rods need ad-
justment (p. 17)
1. Pull left and right bypass pins and
set them in the slots in the chassis

1. Replace fuel filter and flush tank
2. Clean or replace the air filter
3. Add engine oil
4. Replace spark plug
5. Mow slower, wait for grass to dry out
