Replacegasolinecapsecurelyand wipeoffany
spilledgasolinebeforestartingthe engineas it

Extinguish allcigarettes,cigars,pipesandother
sourcesofignition.
Never refuelmachineindoorsbecauseflammable
vaporswillaccumulateinthearea.
Neverstorethe machineorfuel containerinside
wherethere isanopen flame orsparksuchas a
gaswater heater,spaceheater, orfurnace.
Never runanengineinsidea closedarea.
To reducefire hazard,keep mowerfree of grass,
leaves, orotherdebrisbuild-up.Clean upoilor
fuel spillage•Allowmowerto coolat least5
minutesbefore storing.
Beforecleaning,repairing,or inspecting,make
certainthebladeandall movingpartshave
stopped.Disconnectthesparkplugwire,and
keepthe wireawayfrom the sparkplugtoprevent
accidentalstarting.
Checkthe bladeandenginemountingboltsat
frequent intervalsforpropertightness.Also,
visuallyinspectbladefor damage(e.g., bent,
crackedorworn).Replacewithbladewhich

Keepall nuts,bolts,andscrewstighttobe sure
theequipmentisin safeworkingcondition.
