Non-recommended Paper
CAUTION:
Important
❒ Donotuseanyofthefollowingkindsofpaperorafaultmightoccur.
• Thermal fax paper
• Art paper
• Aluminum foil
• Carbon paper
• Conductive paper
• OHP transparencies for color copying
• Paper with perforated lines
• Hemmed paper
❒ Do not copy on the side of paper that has been already copied on or a fault
might occur.
Note
❒ Do not use the following kinds of paper or a misfeed might occur.
• Bent, folded, or creased paper
• Torn paper
• Slippery paper
• Perforated paper
• Rough paper
• Thin paper that has low stiffness
• Paper with a lot of paper dust on its surface
❒ If you make a copy on rough grain paper, the copy image might be blurred.

Do not use paper that has been already copied or printed on or a fault might occur.
Paper Storage
Note
❒ When storing paper, the following precautions should always be followed:
• Do not store paper where it will be exposed to direct sunlight.
• Avoid storing paper in humid areas (humidity: 70% or less).
• Store on a flat surface.
❒ Under high temperature and high humidity conditions or low temperature
and low humidity conditions, store paper in a vinyl bag.
•
Do not use aluminum foil, carbon paper, or similar conductive paper to avoid
a fire or equipment failure.
