from the initial date of purchase, or until the

tenance, or which is scheduledonly for regu -
larinspectionto theeffectof “repairorreplace
as necessary” shall be w arrantedfor 2 years.
Any warranted partwhichis scheduledfor r e -
placement as requir ed maintenance shall be
warranted for the period of time up to the first
scheduled replacem ent point for that part.
DIAGNOSIS: The owner shall not be
charged for diagnostic labor which leads to
the determination that a warranted part is de-
fective if the diagnostic work is performed at
anapprovedWEED EATER servicingcenter .
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES: WEED
EA TER may be liable for damages to other
engineco m ponentscausedby the failure o fa
warranted part still under warrant y. WHATIS
NOT COVERED: All failures caused by
abuse, neglect, or impro per ma intena nc e a re
not covered. ADD--ON OR MODIFIED
PARTS: The use of add--on or modifi ed parts
can begroundsfor disa llowing awar ranty claim.

OF EMISSION RE LATED PARTS:Any
WEED EATER approved replacement part
used in the performance of any warr anty
maintenance or repair on emission related
parts will be provided without charge to the
owner if the part is under warranty. EMIS-
SION CONTRO L WARRANTY PARTS
LIST: Carburetor, air filter (cover ed u p to main-
tenance schedule), ignition system: spark p lug
(covered up to maintenance schedule), i gnition
module, muffler including catalyst (if equipped),
fuel tank. MAINTENANCE STATEMENT:
Theowneris responsible fortheperformance
of all required maintenance as defined in the
instruction manual.
The information on the p roduct label indicates which standard your engine is ce rtified.

This engine is certified to be emissions compliant for the following use:
