MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Disconnect power
source before per forming maintenance.
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The warranty on this unit does not cover
items that have been subject ed to opera-
tor abuse or negl i g en ce. To re ceive full
value from thewarranty ,the operatormust
maintain unit as instructed in this manual.
Various adjust ment swill need to be made
periodically to properly maintain your unit.
BEFORE EACH USE
CHECK FOR LOOSE
FASTENERS AND PARTS

CHECK FOR DAMAGED OR
WORN PARTS

for replacement of da maged or worn
parts.

ON/OFF Switch -- E nsure swi t ch f u nc-
tionsproperlybymovingtheswitchto
the
OFF posit ion. Make sure motor
stop s; then restar t motor and cont inue.
AFTER EACH USE
INSPECTANDCLEANUNIT&LABELS
Stop unit and unplug extension cord.
S After ea ch use, inspect complete unit
forloose ordamaged parts. Clean the
unit using a damp cloth.
S W ipe off unit with a clean dry cloth.
STORAGE
WARNING: Perform the following
steps after each use:
S St op unit and disconnect from the pow-
er so urce.
S Al low motor to cool bef ore storing or
transporting.
S St ore unit with all guards in place. Posi-
ti on uni tso that any shar p objectcannot
accidentall y cause injur y.
S St ore unit unplugged, well out of the
reach of chi l dr en.
SEASONAL STORAGE
Prepare unit for storage at the end of
the season or if it will not be used for
30 days or more.
Ifyour blower is tobe storedforaperiod
of time:
S St op unit and disconnect from the pow-
er source.
S Cl ean t he enti r e uni t .
S Cl ean air vents and air i nl et of debris.
S Store y ou r unit and exten si on cord in a
well ventilated area and covered, if pos-
sible,to pr eventdustand dirtaccumula-
tion. Do not cover with plastic. Plastic
cannot breathe and may cause con-
densation and eventual rust or corro-
sion.
S Check enti r e uni t for loose screws. R e-
place any damaged, worn, or br oken
parts.
TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE
