SECURE EXTENSION CORD TO UNIT
CAUTION: Failure to use cord retainer
could result in damage to the unit, exten-
sion cord, or both.
1. Loop extension cord through cord re-
tainer.
2. Insert cord receptacle through loop.
3. Hold the cord receptacle in one hand.
Use the other hand to gently pull on
the extension cord to remove slack.
NOTE: Only remove enough slack
from the extension cord to secure it to
the cord retainer. Pulling too hard
could damage the extension cord.
4. Insert the cord receptacle into the re-
cessed plug.

USING YOUR UNIT
WARNING:

make sure
the tubes are secure before using the unit.

Do not use the unit
without the tubes or collection bag prop-
erly attached to avoid flying debris and/or
impeller contact which can cause serious
injury. Alwayswear eye protection to pre-
vent rocks or debris from bei ng blown or
ricocheting into the eyes and face which
can result in blindness or serious injury.

USING YOUR UNIT AS A BLOWER
WARNING:
Inspect the area be-
foreusingthe unit. Remove all debrisand
hard objects such as rocks, glass, wire,
etc.,thatcanricochet,bethrown,orother-
wise cause injury or damage during op-
eration.
Use your unit as a blower for:

Sweeping debris or grass clippings from
driveways, sidewalks, patios, etc.

Blowing grass clippings, str aw, or leaves
into piles, or r emoving debr is fr om cor-
ners, around joints, or between bricks.
Direct air flow by directing t he blower tube/
nozzle down or to one side. Always work
away from solid objects such as walks,
large stones, vehicles, and fences.
Clean corners by s tart ing in corners and
moving outw ard. This will help prevent an
accumulation of debris which could fly into
your face.
Be careful when working near plants. The
force of the air could damage tender plants.
USING YOUR UNIT AS A VACUUM
WARNING:
Do notvacuumstones,
gravel, metal, broken glass, etc. , to avoid
severe damage to the impeller. To avoid
the possibility of electrica l sho ck, do not at-
tempt t o vacuum water or other liquids.
Use your unit as a vacuum to pick up dry
material such as leaves, grass, small
twigs, and bits of paper.
