OPERATION
Before transporting tractor between locations, idle
the tractor engine, disengage the attached head,
and wait for all head motion to come to a complete
stop. Place the boom in its storage cradle rest
support and then turn the joystick master switch to
the OFF position.
Placing Boom Articulating Arm on Boom Arm Rest
Extend the dipper section approximately half
way out.
Then pull the second (Lift) back toward the
operator lifting the arm about 3/4 (three-
fourths) of the way up.
After this position is accomplished, pull the
first handle (Swing) back toward the operator
until the arm has swung over the rest located
on the ROPS near the top.
Now by operating the second handle (Lift)
and/or the third handle (Dipper) lower the arm
onto the rest.
There is a formed “V” plate on the dipper
section of the arm that fits onto the rest.
To remove from the transport position, pull the
section handle (Lift) back and raise the unit about
6” (inches). Then swing the boom around to the
side and you are ready to mow. Transport slowly
and carefully on slopes and round terrain. OPS-B-

Before transporting the tractor on a public roadway
or boarding a trailer for transport, the tractor brake
pedals should be locked together. Locking the
pedals ensures that both wheels brake
simultaneously while stopping, especially when
making an emergency stop.
Use extreme caution and avoid hard applications of
the tractor brakes when towing heavy loads at road
speeds. Never tow the implement at speeds
greater than 20 MPH (25 kph). OPS-U- 0018
