SEASONAL STORAGE
Prepareunit for storageat end ofseason or if

FUEL SYSTEM
Under FUELING ENGINE in the OPERA-

beled IMPORTANT regarding the use of ga-
sohol in your engine.
Fuel stabilizer is an acceptable altern ative i n
minimizing th e formation of fue l gum d epo sits
d ur ing stor ag e. Add st abilizer to ga soline in f uel
tank o r fuel storage container . Follow the mix
in str u ction s fo un d on st abilizer con t aine r. Run
e ngin e at least 5minutes af te r addin gsta bilizer.
ENGINE

Remove spark plug andpour1 teaspoonof
40:1,2-cycle engineoil (air cooled)through
the spark plug opening. Slowly pull the
starter rope 8 to 10 times to distribute o il.
S
Replace spark plugwith newone ofrecom-
mended type and heat range.
S
Clean air filter.
S
Check entire unit for loose screws, nuts,
and bolts. Replace any damaged, broken,
or worn parts.
S
At the beginning of the next season, use
only freshfuel havingthepropergasolineto
oil ratio.

Do not store gasoline from one season to
another.
