SHOULDER STRAP ADJUSTMENT
1. Hold t h e unit as shown with the mu f f ler side
facing away from your body and clothes.
2. Pass the shoulder strap over your head
and onto your right shoulder.
3. Extend your left arm towardthe rear ofthe
vacuum bag.
4. Adjust shoulder strap until the vacuum
bag/shoulder strap seam lies between
your thumb and index finger.
5. Make sure air flows freely from the elbow
tubeinto bag. If bagis kinked, the unit will
not operateproperly .

THROTTLE LEVER
The T HROTTLELEVER is used toselect the
desired engine speedand to stop theengine.
Movethethrottlelevertothe
positionfor
full speed operation. Move the throttle lever
tothe
positionforidlespeed. Tostopthe
engine, move the throttle lever to the STOP
position.
PRIMER BUTTON
The PRIMER BUTTON removes air from the
car bu re tor and fuel lines and fills them with fu el.
T his allows you to start th e e ngin e with fewer
pulls on the sta rter rope. A ctivate primer butt on
by pressing it and allowing it to return to its o rigi-
nal position.
CHOKE LEVER
The CHOKE helps to supply fuel to the engine
to aid in cold starting. Activate the choke by
moving th e choke le ver t o t he FULL CHOKE
position.After e ng ineattempts tostart, move th e
choke lever to the HALF CHOKE position.
Once engine starts, move choke lever to the
R U N po s ition.
