the date the small off--road engine is pur-
chased. LENGTH OF COVERAGE: This
warranty shall be for a period of two years
from the initial date of purchase. WHAT IS
COVERED: REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
OF PARTS. Repair or replacement of any
warrantedpart willbe performedat nocharge
to the owner at an approved Poulan PRO
servicing center. If you have any questions

be charged for diagnostic labor which leads to
the determination that awarranted part is defec-
tive ifthe diagnostic work is performed at an ap-
proved Poulan PRO servicing center. CONSE-
QUENTIAL DAMAGES: Poulan PRO may be
liable for damages to other engine components
caused by the failure of awarranted part still un-
der warranty . WHA T IS NOT COVERED:All
failures caused by abuse, neglect, or improper
maintenance are not covered. ADD--ON OR
MODIFIED PARTS: The use of add--on or
modified partscan begrounds fordisallowing
a warranty claim. Pou la n PRO is not l iable to
cover failures of warranted parts caused by the

OFEMISSION RELATEDPARTS: AnyPou-
lan PRO approved replacement part u sed in
the performance o f any warranty mainte-
nance or repair on emission related parts will
be providedwithout chargeto theowner ifthe
part is under warranty. EMISSION CON-
TROL WARRANTY PARTS LIST: Carbure-
tor, air filt er (covered up to m aintenance
schedule), ignition system: spark plug (cov-
ered up to maintenance schedule), ignition
module, muffler including c atalyst (if
equipped), fuel tank. MAINTENANCE
STATEMENT: The owner is responsible for
the performance of all required maintenance
as defined in the instruction manual.
The information on the product label indicates which standard your engine is certified.
Example: (Year) EPA and/or CALIFORNIA.
This engine is certified to be emissions compliant for the following use:
Moderate (50 hours)
Intermediate (125 hours)
Extended (300 hours)
