A—Positive (+) Battery Terminal
B—Negative (—) Battery Terminal
1. Keep battery clean by wiping with a damp cloth. Keep
all connections (A and B) clean and tight. To remove
any corrosion, wash terminals with a solution of four
parts water to one part baking soda.
CAUTION: To avoid sparks, connect negative
(ground) (—) cable last and disconnect it first.
2. Keep battery fully charged, especially during cold
weather. If a battery charger is connected, attach a
positive cable to the positive battery terminal (A).
Connect the negative battery charger lead to a good
ground on tractor frame.
