MAINTENANCE
To reinstall belt: Swing pump idler pulley
toward engine to route belt around it. Then
route belt around the pulley for left pump first.
Reinstall idler spring and use the ratchet to
rotate idler so the belt may be installed all the
way around the last pulley.
Checking the Blades
In order to attain the best mowing
performance, it is important that the blades
are well sharpened and not damaged.
Bent or cracked blades or blades with large
nicks should be replaced.
Check the blade mounts.
Damaged blades should be replaced when hitting
obstacles that result in a breakdown. Let the service
workshop decide whether the blade can be
repaired/ground or must be discarded.
