Check Seat Belt
Service Interval: Before each use or daily
Visually inspect seat belt for wear, cuts, and proper
operation of retractor and buckle. Replace before
operating if damaged.
Check for Loose Hardware
Service Interval: Before each use or daily
1. Stop engine, wait for all moving parts to stop, and
remove key. Engage parking brake.
2. Visually inspect machine for any loose hardware
or any other possible problem. Tighten hardware
or correct the problem before operating.
Service Air Cleaner
Service Interval: Every 250 hours—Replace
the primary air cleaner
element check
secondary air cleaner
element; replace if dirty.
(May need more often
under severe conditions.

Every 500 hours—Replace
the secondary air cleaner
element (May need more
often under severe
conditions. See the
Engine Owner's Manual
for additional information.)

Check Air Filter Assembly (if
equipped)
Service Interval: As required
Important: To prevent engine damage, always
operate the engine with both air lters and cover
installed.
1. When checking or replacing the air lter element,
make sure the air lter assembly is installed in the
brackets.
2. Position the air cleaner cover so that the
breather valve does not interfere with the throttle
mechanism.
