1. AIR CLEANER - Contains replaceable air filter element.
2. SPARK PLUG - Provides spark to ignite fuel mixture.
3. MUFFLER/SPARK ARRESTOR -The spark arrestor muffler controls the exhaust noise while the spark arrestor
prevents hot, glowing particles of carbon from leaving the muffler.
4. RECOIL STARTER HANDLE - Pull recoil handle slowly until starter engages, then return handle slowly. DO
NOT let handle snap back or damage to unit will occur.
5. CHOKE LEVER - Push lever DOWN to close choke (starting position) and for emergency stopping.
Lift UP to open choke (run position).
6. FUEL TANK CAP - For closing the fuel tank.
7. THROTTLE LEVER - Controls engine speed.
8. STOP SWITCH - “Toggle Switch”
9. SHOULDER HARNESS - Used to support unit on operator’s back. The straps are adjustable.
