When you purchased your tractor, you probably
had it completely equipped for your particular
needs at the time. However, later you may wish to
obtain some of the equipment or accessories shownbelow.
These items and other allied equipment can
be purchased from, and installed by, your
I nternational Harvester dealer.
The tractor is used for so many different types of
work, and because it is called on to operate under
so many different conditions, a variety of equip-
ment is available to adapt it to the requirements of
the user.
Possible Cause
Possible Remedy
HARD TO START
No gasoline in fuel tank or carburetor.
Fuel line or carburetor clogged.
Water
in gasoline.
Choked improperly. Flooded engine. Defective ignition or loose wiring. Defective battery Spark plug dirty or improper gap.
Fill the tank with gasoline; open the fuel shut-off
valve. Check the fuel line, and carburetor.
Clean the fuel line and carburetor with acetone or
50-50 mixture of alcohol and benzol.
Drain the fuel tank and carburetor. Use new fuel
and dry the spark plug.
Follow the starting instructions.
Check the wiring, spark plug, or breaker.
Check and service; See page 24, or replace.
Clean, adjust the gap to .025 inch, or replace the
plug.
