Never allowanypartof the bodyto come incontact with
the fluid stream. DO NOT come incontactwitha fluid
stream createdby a leak inthe highpressurehose.
Highpressurestreamsof fluidthis equipmentproduces
canpierce skinand its underlyingtissues,leadingto seri-
ousinjuryand possibleamputation.
Never aimthe gunat people,animalsor plants.
High pressurespraycancause paintchipsor otherparti-
cles tobecomeairborneand fly at highspeeds.
Always weareyeprotectionwhen youusethisequipmentor
when youare in thevicinitywherethe equipmentis in use.
Operate the pressureat no more than the PSI fluid pres-
sure rated for your pressure washer.
Never move the machine by pulling on the high pressure
hose. Use the handle provided on the top of the unit.
Always be certain the spraygun, nozzlesand accessories
are correctly attached.
Never use a spray gunwhich does nothave a trigger lock
or trigger guard in placeand in working order.
Usea respirator or mask whenever there is a chance that
vapors may be inhaled. Read all instructions with the mask
soyou are certain the mask will provide the necessary
protection against inhaling harmful vapors.
High pressure spray maydamage fragile items including
glass. Do not pointspray gun at glass when in the jet
spray mode.
Keep the hoseconnected to machineor the spraygun
whilethe systemispressurized.Disconnectingthe hose
while the unitispressurizedis dangerous.
Holdthe spraygunfirmly inyourhand beforeyou startthe
unit.Failuretodoso could resultin an injuryfroma whip-
pingspraygun. Donot leavethe spraygununattended
while the machineisrunning.
Thecleaningarea shouldhave adequateslopesand
drainageto reducethe possibility ofa falldue to slippery
surfaces.
Keep water sprayawayfromelectricwiringorfatalelectdc
shockmay result.
Do notadjust unloadervalveto a pressurein excessof
machinerating.
Donotsecuretriggerguninthe pull-beck(open)position.
Donot by-passany safety deviceon this machine.
The muffler and engine heat up during operation and
remain hotimmediately after shutting it down. Avoid con-
tact with a hot muffleror engine oryou could be severely
burned.
Engine exhaustgasescontain DEADLY carbon monoxide
gas. This dangerousgas, if breathedin sufficientconcen-
trations,can causeunconsciousnessoreven death.
Operate thisequipmentonlyin the open airwhereade-
quate ventilationisavailable.
Gasolineis highlyFLAMMABLEand itsvaporsare
EXPLOSIVE. Do notpermitsmoking,openflames,sparks
or heatinthe vicinitywhilehandlinggasoline.Avoid
spillinggasolineona hotengine.Allowunitto coolfor 2
minutesbeforerefueling.Complywithall lawsregulating
storageand handlingof gasoline.
Locatethispressurewasherinareas awayfrom com-
bustiblematerials,combustiblefumesordust.
The highpressureequipment isdesignedto be usedwith
Sears authorizedpartsonly. Ifyou usethisequipment with
partsthat do notcomply withminimumspecifications,the
userassumesall risksand liabilities.
Somechemicalsordetergentsmay be harmfulifinhaled
or ingested,causingseverenausea,faintingor poisoning.
The harmfulelementsmay causepropertydamageor
severe injury.
DonotallowCHILDREN tooperatethe PressureWasher

Operate engineonlyatgovemed speed.Runningthe
engineat excessivespeedsincreasesthe hazardofper-

Do notwear looseclothing,jewelryoranythingthat may
be caughtin the starterorotherrotatingparts.
Beforestartingthe PressureWasher incoldweather,
checkall parts oftheequipmentand be sureice has not
formed there.
Unitswithbrokenor missingparts,orwithoutprotective
housingor covers shouldNEVER be operated.
The mufflerand aircleanermustbeinstalledand in good
conditionbeforeoperatingthe Pressure Washer.These
componentsact assparkarrestorsifthe enginebackfires.
Checkthe fuel systemfor leaksor signsofdeterioration
suchaschafedor spongyhose,looseormissingclamps
ordamaged tankor cap. Correctall defectsbeforeoperat-
ingthe PressureWasher.
Do notsprayflammable liquids.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE:
Operate andstorethis unitona stablesurface.
Highpressurehosecandevelopleaksfromwear, kinking,
abuse, etc.Water sprayingfroma leakiscapableofinject-
ing materialintoskin.Inspecthoseeach timebefore using
it. Checkall hosesforcuts,leaks, abrasionsor bulgingof
cover,or damageor movementof couplings. Ifany of
these conditions exist,replace hoseimmediately.Never
repairhighpressurehose.Replaceit withanotherhose
that meets minimumpressureratingof yourpressHre
washer.
