JUMP STARTING
Neverjump starta damagedorfrozenbattery.Becertainthevehicles
do not touch,and ignitionsareoff. Donotallowcable clampsto
touch.
1. Connectpositive(+)cableto positivepost(+)of yourtractor's
dischargedbattery.
2. Connecttheotherendof thecabletothe positive(+)postof the
jumperbattery.
3. Connectthesecondcable negative(-) tothe negativepost(-) of
the jumperbattery.
4. Connecttheotherendof thenegativecabletothe engineblockof
the tractor,awayfromthe battery.Attachtoanunpaintedpartto
assurea goodconnection.
Ifthejumperbatteryis installedona vehicle(i.e.car,truck),do NOT
startthevehicle'senginewhenjumpstartingyourtractor.
5. Startthe tractor(asinstructedearlierin thissectionofthis
manual).
6. Set thetractor'sparkingbrakebeforeremovingthejumpercables,
in reverseorderof connection.
