CROSSBAR INSTALLATION
1. Using emery cloth (220 or finer), remove surface
rust, Loctite
®
and foreign material from hub,
splined gearbox, vertical shaft, and crossbar as
shown in Figure 20.

2. Install crossbar (2) on splined shaft. Install washer,
castle nut, and cotter pin. Torque nut to200 lbs-ft.
3. Install the blades. See Blade Installation, page 19
