CONNECTIONS TO CIRCULATOR
Circulator Operation
1. Unzoned Systems, or Circulator-Zoned Systems — The
thermostat cycles the circulator motor (through a relay) to
meet the demand for heating.
2. System Zoned with Water Valves – Auxiliary contacts of
water valves cycle circulator motor (through a relay) to meet
the demand for heating. (The circulator runs as long as any
zone is calling for heat.)
