BLOWER TUBE
The
BLOWER TUBE is designed to direct
the flow of air.
INLET RESTRICTOR
The
INLET RESTRICTO R improves the
blower function.
TUBE RELEASE BUTT ON
The
TUBE REL EASE BUTTON se cures the
blo w er tube or elbow tube to the blow er
unit duri ng operation. Also, pressing the
tube release button al l ows removal o f t he
blower tube or elbow t ube.
WARNING: You MUST make sure
the tubes aresecure before using t he unit.
WARNING: Do not use the unit
wit hout the tubes orcollecti on b ag proper-
ly attached to avoid fl yi ng debri s and/or
impell er contact which can cause serious
injury. Always wear e y e protection t o pre-
vent rocks or debris from being blown or
ri cocheting into the eyes and f ace which
can result in blindness or ser ious i nj ur y.
STOPPING YOUR UNIT
Slide the
ON/OFF switch to the OFF
position.
STARTING YOUR UNIT
Your unit ha s two run positions,
LOW
and HIGH. Slide the switch to one of
these positions to turn on the unit.

USING YOU R UNIT AS A BLOWER
WARNING: Inspect the area be-
fore using the unit. Remove all debris
and hard objects such as rocks, glass,
wire, etc., that can ricochet, be thrown,
or o therwise caus e injury or damage
during operation.
Use your unit as a blower for:
D Sweeping debris or grass clippings from
driveways, sidewalks, pa tios, etc.
D Blowing grass clippings, straw, or leaves
into piles, or removing debris from cor-
ners, around joint s, or between bricks.
Direct air flow by directing the blower
tube down or to one side. Always work
away from solid ob jects s uch as walks,
large stones, vehicles, and fences.
Cl ea n c orners by starting in co rners a nd
moving outw ard. This will help prevent
an accumulation of debri s whi ch could
fly into your face. Be careful when
workingnearplants.Theforceoftheair
could damage tender pl ant s.
USING Y OUR UNIT AS A VACUUM
WARNING: Do not vacuum
stones, gravel, metal, broken glass,
etc., to avoid severe damage to the im-
peller. To avoid the possibility of electri-
cals hock , donot attempttovacuum wa-
ter or other liquids.
Use your unit as a vacuum to pick up
dry material such as leaves, grass,
small twigs, and bits of paper.
D For best results during vacuum use,
operate your unit at high speed.
D Move slowly back and forth over the
material as you v acuum. Avoid forc-
ing the unit into a pile of d ebris as
this can clog the unit.
D Keep t he vacuum tube about an i nch
above the ground for best results.
WARNING: If the unit becomes
clogged,stoptheunitandunplug theex-
tension cord. Wait until the impeller has
completely stopped turning, then re-
move the vacuum tubes. Care fully
reach into the vacuum opening and
clear out the clogged debris.

WARNING: Disconnect power
source before performing maintenance.

The warranty on this unit does not cover
items that have been subject ed to opera-
tor abuse or negl igence. To receive full
value from the warranty, the operator must
maintain unit as instructed in this manual.
Various adj ustm ents w i ll need to be made
periodically to properly maintain your unit.
