MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Disconnect power
source before performing maint enance.
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The warranty on this unit does not cover
items that have been subjected t o opera-
tor a buse or negl igence. To r eceive full
value from thewarranty , the operator must
maintain unit as instructed in this ma nua l.
Vari ous adjustments wil l need to be made
perio dically to proper ly maintain you r unit.
BEFORE EACH USE
CHECK FOR LOOSE
FASTENERS AND PARTS

Contact your authorized service dealer
for replacement of da maged or worn
parts.

AFTER EACH USE
INSPECT ANDCLEAN UNIT & LABELS
Stop unit and unplug extension c ord.
S After each use, inspect complete unit
for loose or damaged parts. Clean the
unit using a damp cloth.
S Wipe off unit with a c lean dry clot h.
STORAGE
WARNING: Perform the following
steps after each use:
S Stop uni t and disconnect from the pow-
er so urce.
S Allow motor to cool befor e storing or
transporting.
S Store unit wi t h all guar ds in pl ace. Posi -
ti on unit so that any sharp object cann ot
accidentall y cause injur y.
S Store unit unplugged, well out of the
reach of chil dr en.
SEASONAL STORAGE
Prepare unit for storage at the end of
the sea son or if it will not be used for
30 days or more.
If your blower is to be stored for a period
of time:
S Stop unit and disconnect fr om the pow-
er sou rce.
S Clean the entir e unit .
S Clean air vents and air i nl et of debris.
S Stor e you r unit an d extensi on co rd i n a
well ventilated are a and covered, if pos-
sible, to prevent dust and dirt accumul a-
tion. Do not co ver with plast ic. Plast ic
cannot breat he and may cause con-
densation and eventual rust or cor r o-
sion.
S Check enti r e unit for loose screws. Re-
place any damaged, worn, or broken
parts.
TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE
