Parking Brakes
9 The Swisher ZT2460 is equipped with an Automatic Parking
Brake system on each control handle.
9 When the control handles are in the out most position the
parking brakes are on.
9 Adjustment for the system is located on the ends of the brake
cable at the hydro pan & frame
9 Raise the rear wheel off the ground.
9 Disengage the hydro to be adjusted with the hydro release
handle at the rear of the unit
9Adjust so that the brake is not on when the handles are in the
operator position. The wheel should turn freely.
9 The wheel should not turn when the handle is move to the
engaged or outward position.
9 To tighten the brake, turn the adjustment nuts towards the end
of the cable.
9 Recheck adjustment with control handle
9 Lower unit back to the ground
9Reengage the hydro at the rear of the unit

When it is necessary to raise the mower for
any repair or service, use jackstands to
provide adequate support. DO NOT rely on
hydraulic or mechanical jacks
